Broken

My sewing machine would often develop an annoying problem in the bobbin-holding device. Usually, I would take the bobbin device out of the machine and just put it back in place and everything would be back to normal. But today, no matter what I did, things never got better. Tomorrow I am going to take it to a repair shop and see how expensive it is to fix. Grr...

I love reading your comic. I check to see if there is a new one daily. I think that you should seriously think about doing a comic with a story line. Even if you don't i still enjoy seeing your more funny, frustating, annoying, happy and sad times. Keep it up!

What was the recipe that required Sechuan pickled vegetable? (I'm also Chinese btw) Have you ever tried Thai style basil, squid chili stir fry? YUMMY!

simplyawesome - Thanks so much for the support. It's easiest for me to do a daily comic based on my life since it constantly gives me some sort of subject matter to illustrate. Although, I do try to do other types of comics with a more developed storyline in my free time. Some of which can be seen on my website.

nick - I finally did get some Sechuan preserved vegetable from an online service (though I haven't eaten it yet). I recently purchased Fuschia Dunlop's book Land of Plenty, so there are quite a few recipes using the ingredient. Specifically, "Spicy noodles with soft bean curd" (dou hua mian) and "Pork slivers with preserved mustard tuber" (zha cai rou si).

I believe I have had Thai basil, but only at restaurants. I don't think I have had squid chili stir-fry, but I by no means veer away from squid. I'll have to look for it at my favorite restaurant.

Hope you like the site. I actually have a whole bunch of sites on the web (a lot are repetitive). They are all listed on the righthand side of this blog (the homepage)
