We've painted four rooms in the past month and a half, and briefly--very ever so briefly!--entertained making them textured but then decided we loved ourselves far too much. So good luck to Seth on that one! (although it does great when finished!)
Good decision on not using texture. It may look nice, but the only way to get a good coat of paint on it is with a sprayer.
Seriously, textured walls makes everything worse.
